02 November Kingdom Property partners Thai-Canadian Chamber of Commerce in charity golf event
PATTAYA, THAILAND: Kingdom Property has signed a title sponsorship deal to support the Thai Canadian Chamber of Commerce’s (TCCC) annual charity golf tournament in Pattaya this month as part of its ongoing activities to highlight outdoor sports and support worthy projects in the destination.
The move follows Kingdom’s recent sponsorship partnership with Thailand’s most venerable sailing institution, Royal Varuna Yacht Club to support the country’s young sailors.
Kingdom Property Chief Executive Officer Nigel Cornick said: “We are delighted to support the Thai Canadian Chamber’s excellent efforts and also highlight golf in Pattaya – where there are a remarkable number of championship standard courses.
“Pattaya is rapidly emerging as a vibrant and unique city that will be a leading hub in Thailand’s future. The association between this event and Kingdom starts with a shared vision of giving back to the community and involving people from all walks of life,” he said.
TCCC vice-president John Casella added he very much appreciated the sponsorship which not only supported the event and the destination but also made a meaningful contribution to the community.
“It is always a pleasure to work with Nigel and I would like to say thank you on behalf of the TCCC, the Flying Farangs, the players and the People Eye Care Foundation of Thailand, a volunteer medical outreach organization that travels to rural community hospitals each month, performing cataract eye surgery on those who could not otherwise afford this important medical help,” he said.
Kingdom Property also recently supported the Golf Life by Southpoint event at Royal Varuna Yacht Club, where over 1,000 golfers attended a gala evening of celebrity entertainment presided over by the Mayor of Pattaya, Mr Ithiphol Khunpleum with prizes going to lucky golfers including cash vouchers up to THB100,000, version 5 iPhones and iPads and a Suzuki Swift car.
At the event Kingdom Property also unveiled its landmark Southpoint condominium project. Situated on an elevated four rai freehold plot on Pratumnak Hill, Southpoint offers expansive sea views and the convenience of being a short distance south of Bali Hai in Pattaya City as well as a brief walk from Royal Varuna Yacht Club. The THB2.5 billion development will be completed in 2015.
