Workshop: Introduction to Business Process Improvement

Every business has processes. Most, if not all, of these processes could be improved. This has never been more important in Thailand than it is now. With the rise in the minimum wage, onset of the Asean Economic Community, long-lasting fallout from a protracted global slowdown, and increased competition for limited business opportunities, increasing productivity is crucial not only for profitability, but in some cases, business survival.Grant Thornton Management Consulting (GTMC) have completed over 75 business process improvement projects across various industries. Over two-thirds of our clients are repeat customers due to our ability to deliver fast, high-value results.

In this workshop, a Partner from GTMC will facilitate an interactive and practical half-day workshop aimed at Divisional or Senior Management level business leaders that would like to understand how companies can foster a culture of continuous process improvement. It will cover the following topics:

– A brief history of Process Improvement.
– What are the benefits of Process Improvement?
– What is a process?
– What methodologies are there for Process Improvement?
– Can we apply Process Improvement to the Service Industry?
– What is the relationship to improving productivity?
– How to isolate the process with highest-value return?
– Some tips on Process Improvement.
– How do you improve a process?
– How to develop a culture of Process Improvement?
– What’s next?
